As the central hub of all things fun, you’ll find plenty of exciting things to do on the Las Vegas strip. From free entertainment to scream-worthy rides, the kids are going to make memories that will last a lifetime. Here are our top must-see things to do with kids in Las Vegas on the strip:
High Roller Observation Wheel
One of the top attractions for kids on the strip is the High Roller Observation Wheel. Soar 550 feet above the ground and enjoy the panoramic view of the airport, mountains, and the strip! One of the best times to ride is right after 5 p.m. when you can see all the lights on the strip.
But, the coolest part about this wheel is that it doesn’t ever actually stop rotating. That means you get in and out while it’s in motion. What a thrill!
Marvel Avengers S.T.A.T.I.O.N Exhibit
Avengers Assemble! The Marvel Avengers Station is a museum dedicated to the world’s most popular superheroes. With actual costumes from the Marvel movies and interactive exhibits, adults and kids alike are sure to have a blast.
Upon entry, you will be given the mission to delve into history, science, engineering, genetics, technologies, and profiles of Captain America, Hulk, Thor, and Iron Man. Tour the Strip Hotels
It might not seem like it but most of the hotels on the Las Vegas strip are actually pretty kid friendly. Filled with ornate designs, elaborate food courts, and dazzling lights, it’s one of the more fun things to do with kids in Las Vegas.
Not all Las Vegas hotels on the strip are created equal though! Our personal family-friendly favorites are The Bellagio, The Venetian, The Palazzo, and the Mandalay Bay.
World’s Largest Permanent Circus
In Vegas, the circus is in town every day, 365 days a year! High above the Circus Circus Casino floor, you can see jugglers, unicyclists, acrobats, and stunts galore for free. The seats fill up fast since this is a free attraction, so get there early if you don’t want to stand. Performances are from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. every day.
Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat
In Siegfried and Roy’s Secret Garden, you’ll come face-to-face with some of nature’s most majestic and exotic creatures. In addition to white tigers, lions, and leopards right in the backyard, you’ll get to explore, learn and play in the enchanting world of the Bottlenose dolphins.
If you or the kids want more dolphin time, you can book a dolphin meet and greet experience, paint with the dolphins, do yoga with the dolphins, participate in dolphin training, or take a VIP tour. Keep in mind that these are added costs to your general admission.
Shark Reef Aquarium
With over 2,000 animals and 14 exhibits, the Shark Reef Aquarium offers a whole day of fun and learning. Apart from a ton of fish, you’ll find reptiles like the golden crocodile, and the komodo dragon here at the Shark Reef Aquarium.
The most incredible part of the aquarium is the walk-through tunnel where you feel like you’re literally swimming with the sea life, including the sharks. Once you get through the tunnel, you can check out the interactive touch pool where you can feed the sea turtles and stingrays. And, children 4-12 can get a discount!
